Kanye West & Jay-Z - Otis:

So I got my hands on these Kanye and Jay-Z collaborations a couple of weeks ago and wasn't overly impressed, considering the talent of both the guys, (we all love to hate Kanye, then secretly listen to him so don't give me shit).
This track is easily the pick of the bunch, called Otis because it contains samples of Otis Redding.

M83 - Couleurs (Live)

I am looking forward to M83's new album coming out in October until then i will settle for this. This really is electronic music at its best, this live version beats the hell out of the album version.
I think if you can't sit back, relax and enjoy good ambient electronic music like this, there is something wrong with you.

Radiohead Remix's

I can't rate Radiohead's chilled music highly enough, so a good remix is worth its weight in gold. In my Opinion they are the greatest band of our generation and easily the most talented.
Both these mix's are very chilled and both off Radiohead's most recent album "The king of limbs'. Caribou and Jacques Greene have  done very well too not lose the essance of the original song yet still create something new. If you are a fan of Radiohead you will enjoy them thoroughly.

Calvin Harris -Feel So Close (Benny Benassi Remix)

Calvin has always been, for me, just shy of awesome. Which is a good thing, because this means that he has left his tracks open for a good remix to capitalize on his talent. This is what Benny Benassi has done here.

I love what he has done to the track, the piano keeps a soft flowing feel while the the guitar keeps it urgent and upbeat.

Golden Oldey: Beatles - With A Little Help From My Friends

"What do you see when you turn out the light?
I can't tell you but I know it's mine."

Sergeant Peppers has been on high rotation in my room the last couple of weeks. I was never a big fan of The Beatles until I started listening properly to there vinyl's.
Here is a track best enjoyed, as in the lyrics, "High with your friends".

Peter Gabriel - My Body Is A Cage

I love Arcade Fire and there is nothing like the tigling feeling you get when someone does a good cover of a band you love.
Peter Gabriel covers the track my body is a cage, and the result is a ominous and haunting track that finishes is a sweet climax.

Ruto - Eternal Soul

This has been my favourite song for the last week, its so chilled its not funny simple piano hook some drums a Indian flute will do it to you every time. The track is off a soundtrack to a documentary about Nujabes, an influential Japanese Hip-Hop producer and Dj who passed away last year.
If u want to unwind listen to this track RIGHT NOW.
And you can grab the whole album Here.

Lupe Fiasco - Enemy Of The State

Lupe Fiasco, is in my opinion best rapper of my time, of course he came in after the biggies and the tupac's, but if you listen to his first album and you appreciate hip hop you cannot help but be blown away.
So after the massive disappointment of his third album "Lasers", which he even said was shit, we are left with two great records and an official mixtape called; "Enemy of the State: A Love Story", which is somewhere in between his second and third record.
The backing track from this tune is one of my favourite Radiohead tracks so its defiantly worth a listen.

XV – Phobia

A hiphop track I stumbled on by XV (Donovan Johnson), this track surprisingly, is based around the whole what are you afraid of hook, but XV got some sweet flow, another reason why 99% of Aussie hiphop is a waste of time compared to the stuff coming out of the USA. Props to XV for the inception bit aswell.

STS – STSisgold

STS is an upcoming rapper from Atlanta and this is a leaked track coming from his LP “The Illustrious“ which is said to hit the streets soon.
The backing track is from a song called “When i’m small by Phantogram” which is a great song in its own right check it out Here

Top Five Live On Later Moments

For those of you who have never seen live on later, you are missing out. It's easily my favourite Music show on TV and although its rarely on free to air TV, when I stumble on it I make a high pitched noise of excitement.
So for the people who need a run down on the show its basically a hour longs program with 4 or 5 bands that play 2 or 3 songs each, and its fucking grouse.
Here are my top 5 performances.
Swagger.

Radiohead -Paranoid Android:

Artic Monkeys - When The Sun Goes Down:

Thom Yorke -The Clock:

The Black Keys - Next Girl & Howling For You:

Gorillaz - Stylo:
