Ash Black Bufflo - Misery Is The Pilgrim's Pasture

This song has an amazing build up, you sit in your chair ear concentrating hard, as the song just builds up and up and up. The flute, piano and percussion are just plain awesome, this track is happy and just one big climax.
Although it is a bit of anti climax, I think thats why i love it.

Hip Hop Break Down

I heard How High on triple J last night and thought it has some promise, has a mellow vibe and a smooth feel. Also I have packed in some other Hip Hop tracks i found today because i cant be bothered making new posts for all four. I'm meant to be studying so  shhhhh.

J. Cole - How High:

The Concrete Project - 6 Foot 7 Foot (remix):

Bahwee - Virginia

Tayyib Ali - Do It:

Into the Valley feat. Karl Dixon (Julio Bashmore Remix)

As soon as this track started i new it was a winner. I just found it and i'm on my 9th rotation  in an hour and i'm still not sick of hearing the soothing tunes that Karl Dixon and Julio Bashmore have created.
Some stonker deep house vocals over rearranged  Roland rhythms, at the 1.45 mark close your eyes and let the music envelope you, Julio Bashmore makes this song sexy and serene.
Love it.

Led Zeppelin Vs. Gramatik - Stairway To Hip-Hop Heaven (Gramatik Remix)

There are a lot of the younger generation who are passionate about old music. Now this is obviously because there was some amazing artists made back in the day, for example Zeppelin, Steppenwolf, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Rolling Stones and the list goes on for a while.
However i found that there are people who absolutely hate to hear these old hits remixed, i'm not one of them.
You gotta be careful and its easy to F%ck up, but if you get it right you can have yourself a stonker track.
Gramatik have done killer job on this tune. Indulge your ears.

Freestylers - Cracks (Flux Pavilion Mix)

The Freestylers are a 6 piece British electronic group, i suppose that if i had to classify them into a genre it would  have to be Breakbeat but classifying bands is way to hard these days. They formed back in 1996 so they have been around for a while.
This is just a great mix, its a pretty busy song, but it works. The bass is deep and the Harp tune works perfectly with the build ups and break downs.
This track has a lot of swagger and its not long before your bopping along.

The Arcade Fire - Suburbs (Mr Little Jeans Cover)

Arcades Fires Grammy award winning album Suburbs was a entertaining record. One of my favorite songs being Suburbs, so when i found this cover i got real excited.
Mr little Jeans version is much more chilled and has replaced the rolling piano and acoustic guitar backing with a much more electric feel. However Mr little jeans has a sweet, soothing voice that just forces you lose yourself is the track. Enjoy.

Massive Attack - Teardrop (Live at Abbey Road)

We all know how awesome this song is, but this live rendition is faultless.
Its also fun to but a faces to the band if you like me and have never seen what they actually look like, the singer is well weird, lucky she can sing though.

The Black Keys - Psychotic girl (Feat. Intuition)

Black Keys are awesome, if you don't know them, listen to their shit and it's impossible too not like them.
"Psychotic Girl" gives the typical tale of a seemingly normal gal that shows her true colors when you’re least expecting it. Intuition’s thoughts go well with The Black Keys’ original vocals, especially against those back beat blues. Also a little Jack Black at the end makes me love this tune even more.

Notorious B.I.G - Gimme The Loot (Super Ginger Dubstep Mix)

Well well well its a Biggie Smalls edit... need i say more....
Well i will, if i had a ounce of rapping skill for every Biggie mix on the net i would be better than any rapper alive, but still shit compared to biggie... did that make sense??

Plan B - She Said (16 bit remix)

This song is from my bag of goodies, i found it just after i got into Plan B's the Defamation of Strickland Banks which had some pretty decent tracks and a new genre that Pan B had thrown himself into.
But this mix by 16 bit is a real mean tune. Taking away the weird 60s genre that Plan B put out replacing it with a mean hip hop / dubstep feel.

Brand New - Daisy (Adventure Club Dubstep Remix)

I adore Brand New, they have been my favorite band since i was 14, after 7 years i'm still not sick of them. I highly doubt they would ever have envisioned one of there songs getting a Dubstep makeover, but i figured i had to share this just because its crazy.

Pink Floyd - Careful With That Axe, Eugene

I'm sitting down on a Tuesday night watching Pink Floyd live at Pompeii turned up full blast with dad, and i have to say that in my mind they are undoubtedly the greatest band ever, by far.

The music they make is absolutely insane, beyond reason, watch this video and tell me this isn't one of the coolest songs ever.

M.I.A - Stepping Up (Nancey Remix)

What can i say about M.I.A .... everyone loved her first album but as soon as i heard "xxxo" i nearly vomited so i never actually listened to her second album.
I thought she had come under MGMT syndrome, making an amazing first album and never being able to go any where near the quality in her second.
But as seen with Bloc Party's  intimacy, a little bit of remixing can turn noise, into music.
I found this song on hypem and although its quite a simple edit it works especially when you turn the bass and volume up in your car and bop along.

Air - La Femme d'Argent

If you havent heard of french band Air you have been living under a rock most of you life, there song Sexy boy was massive, with an mean as shit bass line.
Keeping up with my chill out genre for today im going to post my favourite song by this duo, called "La Femme d'Argent", it starts with some rain sound affects then some bongos bring in the soothing bass line that keeps you captivated for the whole 7 minutes.

Chet Faker - No Diggity

Sooo second day of posting and i have shitloads of songs to share.
This song No diggity was released in 1996 by Blackstreet, so you know its good. I think that hip hop was at its finest in the 90s.
This rendition by Chet Faker is real smooth, good chill out song. I listen to thins song and im instantly relaxed, have a listen, i dare you.

Adele - Rolling In The Deep (Jamie XX Remix) Ft. Childish Gambino

Most people who have been around me the last month or two know i love "Community", so when i found out that a rapper I had just been starting to get into, "Childish Gambino", was Troy one of the main characters, I lost my shit.
Now "Childish Gambino" just features in this song but its still one of my favorites, Adele has such a strong voice and this mix By Jamie XX is real solid.
Hit it uuuuuuppppp.

Max Richter

So i know that this song is a lot different to most of the music i will be posting up here, but somehow Max Richter stuff just gets me. My sister is a intense cello player so i have seen my fair share of orchestral concerts, and mostly i end up drooling on myself and falling asleep, but not with Max Richter, his music is so captivating i could listen to it all day.

This song is crazy emotional, listen to it when u are in a shit mood and u will want to cry. Max has done a lot of Film scores, including songs for "Shutter Island" and the whole score to "Waltz for Bashir" and you can see how the emotion in the song spills through.

Daft Punk - The Son Of Flynn (Kitheory Remix)

So most people know that Daft Punk did the soundtrack to the movie "Tron: Legacy". I saw it a the movies with a mate and the visuals and sound mate it quite a epic experience even if the plot was a bit lost.
My friend and I both agreed the soundtrack was awesome and quickly got our hands on it.
My first thought being that, this album was going to get remixed to hell, and it was, with remixes floating all over the net.

However last week I found that an album with all the good edits has been released into the physical world.
Tron: legacy Reconfigured is a collection of some real solid mixes, the Kitheory mix here is my favorite.
Turn your headphones up and enjoy you will get lost in its intenseness.

Skream - Summer Dreams

Skream brought out his self titled album in 2009, and the whole album is great, save for 2 songs i really get into them all. Since this he has gone into more heavy Dub Step which is a shame because i just Love this jazz sound he has going on, i could listen to this kinda music all day.

The goal

So this is my first Blog ever, what i plan to do it bring some sweet music to peoples ears.
Stuff that I am real into at the time of writing each post, some may be new, some real old, but its all going to be awesome.
I'm sick to death of shitty over produced music that is made just to make money, i want to bring good music to your ears, not specific genre, just good music. Hopefully i can bring some tunes that you will connect to and enjoy.

Peace xx
